THE Colocasia First Pink is a hybrid between the Colocasia Dark Moon and the Bonna Thai White Stripe . Its foliage is pink variegated with light green, sometimes almost white, carried on very dark pink stems. This plant, with the imposing appearance of a giant, can reach up to 2 meters high with foliage of about 1.80 m.
Resistant to temperatures down to -8/-9 degrees in dry weather, the Colocasia First Pink requires regular watering in summer, almost every day once the bulb is well established. Between waterings, if the bulb is small, it is important to wait for the substrate to dry out slightly to avoid bulb rot.
This variety of Colocasia is recommended for expert people because of its special requirements, especially regarding the management of the pink color of the foliage.
